STAFFIN COMMUNITY TRUST
Staffin Community Trust in the Isle of Skye is developing an ambitious and exciting harbour development which will cater for a range of users including fishing boats, aquaculture and marine tourism. SCT needed to purchase a boat trailer that would be able to lift vessels in and out of water for the different users who will be using our community-owned harbour in the north-east of the island.
SCT was delighted with the excellent service from Glenn and his colleagues at PDMS and the high quality of the Roodberg product, which was delivered to us from the Netherlands.
BUCKLERS HARD YACHT HARBOUR
We had been looking for some sort of boat mover/ parker for a while to increase the efficiency of the yard here. Working alongside Marina Projects we decided that a Roodberg trailer, run off a telehandler would be the best answer and would offer the easiest use and maximum versatility.
Now it’s here and we have been using it for a while, it is proving it’s worth. We are very impressed with how simple it is in use, and of course it helps that it is a Roodberg so we know we will get many years out of it. All in all we are very pleased with the new trailer.
